Brown noise for focus and deep work
Brown noise here is generated while you listen, not played from a file. This page starts it at 70, with the other layers off, so the tone is the whole mix.

On a spare screen
Brown noise is the deep end of the three colours this page can make. It is softer in the highs than white, and it sits under a room the way distant water does, without being a recording of water. This page opens that colour at 70 and leaves rain, café, fire, and the rest at zero. Press Play and the browser builds the tone. There is no file to download and no author to credit for the colour itself. If the room is already quiet, drag the slider down. If a hallway is busy, leave it up. The noise card can switch to pink, white, or a recorded hum if brown is the wrong mask. That choice stays in the link when it is not the default. Put it on an iPad with Auto-Lock set to Never, or on the monitor you are not typing on. Stop after can fade the session out over ten seconds when you want a hard end. Other mixes: rain sounds, white noise, coffee shop sounds, and the ambient mixer.
FAQ
Is brown noise a recording?
The brown, pink, and white colours are generated live in the browser. They are not files, and they are not a treatment. The same card can play a recorded hum if you want a sound with a source. This page starts on the generated brown colour.
Can I leave brown noise on a second screen?
Yes. That is the layout. The controls hide after you stop moving, and the tone keeps playing if you switch tabs. Come back and it is still going, unless the system interrupted the audio. Then the page says tap to resume.
